GEARBOXES FOR THE ACCESS AND CONVEYOR INDUSTRIES

The main products manufactured by GDK Engineering are the worm drive slewing rings and a range of worm and wheel gearboxes.

New worm drive slewing ring and gearbox design and development is continually being undertaken, and tests are currently being carried out on a worm drive slewing ring aimed at the Access Industry. Because we specialise in low volume production of gearboxes we are flexible enough to design specific requirements for each customer, including gearbox mounting configurations, input and output shaft details, and gear ratios.

n Foot mounted or flange mounted to suit customers requirements
n Individually designed to meet specific applications
n Low speed output shaft available with an integral gear form or keyway
n High speed drive and mountings details to suit all types of motors
n Rigid gearcase in nodular or grey cast iron
n Hexagon shaft on non-drive end of worm form manual operation
n Phosphor bronze wheel, hardened steel worm
